The Rest & be Thankful is a stopping place on a road (the A83 these days), built by soldiers in the mid-1800s. It's a point at the summit of the road where weary travellers could stop and quite literally be thankful for the rest before they continue on their journey.
The scent of this candle is designed to evoke feelings of comfort, cosiness and restfulness. With notes of cassis and plum surrounded by rose and sweet patchouli.
